Description
The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106-1(b) to obtain annual maintenance and support for existing PICIS Clinical Information System (CIS) and Anesthesia Record Keeper (ARK) software for the Albany and Syracuse VA Facilities. Period of performance: 11/01/2020 through 10/30/2021 Basic description of the requirement: PICIS Clinical Information System is the manufacturer and developer of the medical center software for CIS and ARK, which is currently in place and the sole authorized provider of maintenance and support. PICIS will provide a full- service maintenance agreement to include preventive maintenance, 24/7 telephonic support and as needed repairs. Place of Performance: Albany VAMC, 113 Holland Ave, Albany, NY 12208 Syracuse VAMC, 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, NY 13210 The NAICS code for this requirement is 541511 Custom Computer Programming Services (Size Standard $30 Million). Intended Source: PICIS Clinical Solutions, Inc 100 Quannapowitt Parkway, Suite 405 Wakefield, MA 01880 DUNS: 105505866 THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by October 09, 2020 at 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE PICIS in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Specialist Tevia Mastykarz at Tevia.Mastykarz@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
