- RE: Notice of Intent for the Government to Issue a Sole Source Award Contract to Hardwire LLC for Custom-Made Blinds The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Hardwire LLC., 1947 Clarke Avenue, Pocomoke, MD 21851, for custom-made blinds.� In order to meet the Government�s mission, custom-made commercial blind sets are required in support of a mission critical requirement. �As such, the custom-made blinds must be compatible in all aspects such as form, fit, and function.� The Contracting Officer has determined that Hardwire LLC has the capability to not only meet all salient requirements for the custom-made blinds but also deliver the product under an urgent schedule; therefore, only one source will be solicited.� This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) �Soliciting from a single source.�� The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 339999, All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees.� The estimated amount for this procurement ranges from $20,000.00 to $65,000.00. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations.
