Description

The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), Fort Detrick, Maryland in support of the US Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR) is issuing this notice of intent to procure items via Sole Source negotiation through the award of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Midwest Research Swine, LLC.� Under the contemplated award, Midwest Research Swine, LLC, 3413 11th Street E, Glencoe, MN 55336-3400, will provide High Health Status Yorkshire-cross and Duroc research swine.� This is a follow-on award to W81XWH-15-A-0015 which was performed by Midwest Research Swine, LLC.� Request for Information (RFI) W81XWH-21-I-3223 was posted on https://www.beta.SAM.gov/ from 07 October 2020 to 15 October 2020 with no responses received. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 112210 with a size standard of $1.0 mil. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS.� Responsible, interested parties may identify their interest by submitting capability information by Monday, 02 November 2020 at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time in order to establish the ability of the responder to meet this requirement.� A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing responses to this notification.� All inquiries must be submitted via email to terry.g.bice.civ@mail.mil by 5:00 PM Eastern on 11/02/2020.
