- SYNOPSIS HIGH PURITY HYDRAZINE (HPH) Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy), as the Department of Defense (DOD) Integrated Material Manager (IMM) for Aerospace Energy intends to execute a sole source procurement for the production and delivery of 100,000 pounds of High Purity Hydrazine (HPH) Propellant, NSN: 9135-01-232-1852, IAW MIL-PRF-26536G, dated 11 July 2017, delivered F.O.B Origin into Government-owned containers and all related ancillary services for a period of performance of 28 November 2020 � 27 November 2023. �The anticipated Award Date is 20 November 2020. �As stated under FAR 6.302-3(b)(1)(iv)(B), statutory authority for this contracting action is 10 U.S.C. �2304(c)(3)(A). �The head of an agency may use procedures other than competitive procedures to create or maintain the required domestic capability for production of critical supplies by limiting competition to items manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada. The Government intends to award a one (1) year contract with two (2) option years, Firm Fixed Price contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items procedures.� Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 22 October 2020.
