A: Due date is 10/21/2020 1:00 PM Central time. Contract Opportunities cover sheet is incorrect. Question:  Can the existing one-line drawings and a list of new equipment be provided for bidding purposes? Could we get the existing one-line diagrams? Do you have the electrical one-lines of the facility or of the previous study? What electrical changes/additions/modifications have been made since the last arc flash study? Have similar services been performed in the past, or is this is a first-time requirement? A: We can supply a one-line drawing; however, we do not have a list of new equipment adding within the last five years because of the many renovations done over the years by outside contractors through our engineers. Question:  Can a facility map with floorplan and electrical rooms identified be provided? A: That, and engineering question, my opinion is not an accurate one, because of the many renovations taking place inside the facility. Question:  Can the number of locations at the Memphis VA Hospital to be surveyed be provided (i.e., Electrical Rooms, Switchgear, Generators, etc.)? A: No do not have the manpower. Question:  Will the existing electrical model be delivered to the successful bidder?  If so, what software package is to be used? What software was used for the last study. Will the model file be provided? A: No, the electrical model is not the VA property, and we do not have it one in our possession. Do not know what software that was used and do not have model to provide. Question:  Will a copy of the most recent study in pdf or hardcopy be made available to the successful bidder? A: Yes. Question:  Does the VA wish to have all electrical equipment surveyed, or only that which has had changes, or which has been added in the past 5 years per the VA electrical staff? A: All electrical equipment,  our requirement is to survey every five (5) years. Question:  Can you confirm that the VA will supply an electrician knowledgeable of the hospital electrical system to efficiently move the data collection team(s) through the hospital? A: No, however we can help some. The COR only has one electrician besides himself that is knowledgeable enough to help. Question:  The solicitation states that Site Regulations -All work shall be performed in accordance with VAMC Memphis rules and regulations. Can these rules and regulations mentioned be provided prior to bidding? A: These are stated at the end of the SOW. under VA INFORMATION CUSTODIAL LANGUAGE. Question:  What is the average time to complete the required VA Talent Management System (TMS) training? A: Approximately one hour. Question:  Given that the submitting of photographs in digital format is required as part of the project deliverables and photographs are prohibited while on VA premises as per the solicitation, please confirm that photographs of the electrical gear are allowed in order to avoid a large amount of notes and sketches being necessary. A: Sure photograph of equipment is authorized, for ARC Flash purposes.    Will owner s electrical personnel open the electrical equipment cover during the survey for data collection?
