- Description
- A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, 8 October 2020 from 10:00am � 11:00am, Local Time via teleconference.� The call-in number is: 877-402-9753, the Access Code is: 6546236, and the SECURITY CODE is: 0015.� It is requested that an email be sent to Timothy.G.Humphrey@usace.army.mil to confirm attendance by your organization. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work will consist of renourishing eroded shoreline along Sunny Isles Beach in Miami-Dade County, Florida between FDEP Range Monuments R-7 and R-19.3. The berm extends 120 feet at elevation of +6.1 ft NAVD88 with a foreshore slope of 1V:10H to tie into existing grade. The berm is measured perpendicular from the Construction Baseline (CBL), which for this project is the same as the Erosion Control Line (ECL). The beach template described above includes a +0.5 foot high tolerance allowance. Sand for the project will be sourced from an upland mine and truck hauled to the beach fill area. The upland source will be selected by the Contractor meeting criteria required set forth in the solicitation. The estimated period of performance is 351 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 22 September 2020 and bids will be due on or about 22 October 2020. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $39.5 million. �Magnitude of construction is between $15,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00.
