- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends utilize simplified acquisition procedures to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to CIS Secure Computing, Inc. for the procurement of hard drives and batteries, up to 19 quantities each. Hard drive - Model DTD-HDSS-500, Samsung #MZ-76E500B/AM, 2.5�, 500GB, SATA, Solid State Hard Drive, housed in a carrier. TEMPEST and environmentally tested as a unit with the 1030T. Battery - Model DTD-1030T-02-BAT, Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery (LiFePO4 Battery), 3.2V3.0AH.� 90 minutes across operating temperatures range of 0 to +55C.�� Encased in an aluminum housing.� TEMPEST and environmental tested as a unit with the 1030T. These items are specific to the Next Higher Assembly (NHA) Technician Control Device (TCD) Computer (PN 8486918-001) which is manufactured by CIS Secure Computing Inc. Deliveries are currently expected 120 days after award of the contract and 120 days after options are exercised. Disclaimer: The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. If a competitive solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via beta.sam.gov, and interested parties must comply with that announcement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation, and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.
