- NOTE (October 26, 2020): This is to inform the interested Vendors that Amendment #0001 is attached to this posting to: Update the site visit date to October 23, 2020, 10:00AM Hrs, (local time, Rome, Italy); Upload the updated version of the Statement of Work dated October 8, 2020, consisting of� eight (8) pages; Incorporate the questions and answers attachment dated October 9, 2020; Postpone the due in date through November 6, 2020, 12:00PM Hrs, (local time, Rome, Italy) NOTE (October 8, 2020): This is to inform the interested Vendors that: A site visit will be held on October 23, 2020, 10:00AM Hrs, (local time, Rome, Italy). Meeting site: GATE#27 (Darby Area), via Aurelia, Tombolo (Pisa). How to participate: in order to participate all interested parties will be invited to indicate their interest by submitting an email not later than Close of Business (COB) by October 12, 2020, to elisa.orsini2.ln@mail.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail the solicitation number (W912PF-20-R-0008) and the name of the company, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, and name(s) of the person(s) who will be present at the site visit (maximum two persons): first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, type and number of identification document. Please attach the Identification Document to the e-mail. A legible copy of the identification document(s) has to be provided. Please attach the vehicle number and the plate number. If the person(s) has/have entry pass(es), a copy of the pass(es) has/have to be provided.� Only the persons who have provided the personal data will be allowed to attend the site visit. The Guards will check the identification card at the Gate. The offerors not present on the list will be denied the entrance to the Base. Not indicating interest as described above does not preclude the quoter from participating in this requirement. NOTE:� Interested Parties are NOT required to attend the organized site visit in order to submit a quote. NOTE (October 2, 2020): The final solicitation package, including the pertaining documentation, has been attached to this posting on October 2, 2020.�The�due in date has been established on November 2, 2020, 12:00PM Noon (local time, Rome, Italy). NOTE (August 19, 2020): This is to inform the interested Vendors that: The solicitation DRAFT package, including the pertinent documentation, is attached to this posting, attachment #1 trough attachment #4. The tentative due in date has been established on September 20, 2020, 12:00PM Noon (local time, Rome, Italy); this one will be modified based upon the posting date of the final package. Reminder - This will be a Construction Requirement type contract, including base year plus two (2) option years. Funds will be obligated on each task order. PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: ED 00165-7, Ditches reshaping & cleaning of ducts, Darby Military Community (DMC), USAG Italy� SOLICITATION NUMBER: W912PF-20-R-0008 Description of the project: The Contractor shall manage and provide all equipment, tools and labor necessary to reshape existing ditches partially or completely filled with earth maintaining original type section and restoring the necessary longitudinal slopes and clean ducts under the pedestrian and road crossings so to assure the water flow. The Contractor will have to: Reshaping ditches partially filled by earth. Work consists of ditches reshaping for the quantities indicated in the issued Delivery Orders as described on their attached maps. The re-shaping shall consider the water flow, restoring the necessary longitudinal slopes so to assure the water flow, including possible weeds, vegetation, roots, debris, and rubbish removal inside the ditch (approx. 1 lm). In the reshaping execution, the Contractor shall consider the filling and excavation areas by maintaining the original type section as shown in the concerned sections of the Delivery Orders attached drawings and by restoring and consolidating possible landslides grown on, in time, along the slopes. The material resulting from the reshaping of the ditches must be spread on the surrounding ground in order to obtain a flat and regular surface. Excavation of ditches completely filled by earth. Where ditches are completely filled with earth, contractor shall perform a new excavation of the ditches restoring the necessary longitudinal slopes so to assure the water flow and maintain the original type section as shown in the concerned sections of the Delivery Orders attached drawings. The material resulting from the excavation of the ditches must be spread on the surrounding ground in order to obtain a flat and regular surface. Clean ducts from dirt. The cleaning of ducts under the pedestrian and road crossings will be performed by high pressure hydraulic nozzle. Quantities will be indicated in the issued Delivery Orders and their location will be shown in their attached maps. PRODUCT SERVICE CODE:� Z2KB, Repair or alteration of canals. NORTH INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS): 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. Funding:� Each Delivery Order will be separately funded. Location of the work: The site of the proposed work is Darby Military Community, Livorno, Italy. Magnitude of the project: Between $100,000.00 (�85,870.00) and $250,000 (�214,675.00) (Rate used: $1 = Euro 0.8587). METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Quote (RFQ) resulting in a firm fixed price contract.� Performance period: The Performance Period will be Base year plus two Option years. SITE VISIT: The site visit will be held on August 21, 2020, 9:30AM, meeting site: GATE#27 (Darby Area), via Aurelia, Tombolo (Pisa).
