Description
The purpose of this market survey is to support the FAA requirement to replace the current radio Communications Equipment�s (CE�s) Centralized Maintenance System�s (CMS�s) Communication Server Interface Unit (CSIU).� ��The FAA requires a quantity of 168 RCE CMS CSIU Units to perform a technical refresh of the 25-year-old�Control Equipment (CE) Centralized Maintenance System (CMS) installed in the National Airspace System (NAS).� The current RCE CMS CSIU is obsolete. The CE CMS CSIU replacement unit must meet all requirements as included, but not limited to, the specifications listed on the attached Requirements Document.� In addition, the FAA is interested in First Article delivery in any potential contract award.� The FAA contemplates any First Article prototypes will include testing and evaluation, conducted separately by the FAA and vendor, to ensure the unit is produced to meet FAA specifications and operate as intended.� The FAA expects to have substantial collaboration with the vendor throughout the First Article and testing process. A Statement of Work is also attached for interested vendors to reference.� The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from vendors who are interested in and can show capability of meeting requirements as noted in this market survey. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and size standard for this effort: NAICS:� 335999�All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing Size Standard:� 500 Employees Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only.� This is not a screening information request or request for proposal or quote of any kind.� The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.� The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing a response to this market survey.� Therefore any cost associated with a market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor�s expense.� In order to meet the capability determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: Capability Statement � -� Type of services provided by your firm -� Size and type of services provided on previous contracts -� Number of years in business -� Documentation that clearly states the interested vendor can meet each and all capability requirements as provided in the attached SOW and Product Requirements: All responses to this market survey must be received by 4:00 p.m. Central (Oklahoma) Time, Monday, November 9, 2020.� The FAA requires all responses to be submitted electronically to the following: Email:� kathleen.d.islas@faa.gov Please include �MARKEY SURVEY RESPONSE:� CE CMS CSIU� in the subject line of your email.� Information provided will not be released but please mark �PROPRIETARY� on all documents submitted as necessary.
