Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only. The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is seeking sources with the capability for maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on United States Navy Los Angeles Class (SSN-688) submarine model A++ High Pressure Air Compressors (HPACs). A++ maintenance requirements will consist of Grooms, Air End Overhauls, Removals, and Installations (see attached specifications). PHNSY & IMF is also seeking sources with maintenance capabilities for United States Navy Ohio Class (SSBN/SSGN) submarine model 13NL45 HPACs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this requirement is 336611. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. Capability statements shall demonstrate the contractor's capability to perform the requirements of the HPAC maintenance to include providing systems certification for the A++ and 13NL45 HPACs and for the attached specifications. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals or quotations. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.��Telephonic responses are not allowed. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
