- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to: CANA, LLC. DUNS #829394688 Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific), code 22710, hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a noncompetitive basis with CANA, LLC under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The description summary of work listed below are to evaluate Air and Ground Unmanned Logistics Systems (ULS) with 5G enabled technologies and their impacts on Connected Autonomous Vehicles (CAV), drone delivery, cyber focused digital fortressing, and energy communications. The scope of the requirement is as follows: The primary objectives include demonstrating the evaluation of electric autonomous vehicles (AVs) on a mission ready platform perfectly suited for autonomy and exportable energy applications. Efforts shall include Analyses of Alternatives (AoA), Modeling and Simulation (M&S) in relation to proof of concepts and extended evaluations in multiple operational environments to assess respective performance in varying environmental conditions. This includes quantifying the impact of Unmanned Logistics Systems (ULSs) with exportable energy, and how this impacts the battlefield. Contractor key focus areas to accomplish the objectives will be: Evaluation of Air and Ground Unmanned Logistics Systems (ULS) and 5G technologies and their impacts on Connected Autonomous Vehicles (CAV), drone delivery, cyber focused digital fortressing, and energy communications. The contractor will provide a modeling and simulations report, requirements analysis, and recommendations/tactical insights of how 5G enabled technologies influences unmanned logistics systems as a part of the overall scope objective. POP: 1 year with 1 option year This is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. The applicable NAICS code is 541715 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences. The business size standard is 1,000 employees.
