- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 2, intends to award a sole source award contract to F&E Services Inc. 40 Pier LN W, Fairfield NJ 07004. Preventive Maintenance and inspection services, for VA New York Harbor Healthcare System. The VA NYHHS is in need for provide a preventive maintenance, testing, inspection, general cleaning and certification services for all VA NYHHS Manhattan Campus 22 Harding Steel Parking Lifts and two Hydraulic Power Units. The contractor s work includes implementation and execution of all services, tasks and goals. The goal of this contract is to obtain a maintenance program that will reduce and minimize equipment repairs and maintenance cost through improved preventive maintenance measures. Period of performance: 12 months base and four 12 months option. The 22 Harding Steel SUV XL Parking Lifts and Two Hydraulic Power Units are currently under warranty. Within the existing contract NO. 36C24219P0745. NAICS: 333921 Size Standards: 1,000 employees THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by November 12, 2020. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to safa.shleiwet@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
