Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), Code 422 has a requirement to procure lifecycle, modernization, and in-service support services for the MTU family of diesel engines.� It is the Government�s intention to procure these services on a sole source basis to MTU America located in�Novi, Michigan�in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, as only MTU America can meet the Government�s requirements. NSWCP seeks to award a hybrid Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee and Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Quantity, Indefinite-Delivery type Contract. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only. This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts.� The Government is not soliciting nor will it accept proposals as a result of this synopsis.� If a competitive solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via�beta.sam and interested parties must comply with that announcement.� The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice.� This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.
