- 1. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for Underwater Acoustic Transducers and Transformer Box's in accordance with the attached solicitation. 2. The synopsis/solicitation number is 140G0221Q0004 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit quotes on RFQ Number 140G0221Q0004. 3. The policies contained in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award prescribed in Part 13, as appropriate shall be used for this acquisition. 4. This is a SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The associated NAICS Code is 334310 - Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. 5. Offerors shall include a Dun and Bradstreet number with quote. Offerors must be current and active in System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive award. Register at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be eligible for award. 6. All requirements for preparation, submission, and receipt of quotes are contained in this solicitation and shall be adhered to. 7.
