Modification 02: This is a modification to the special notice entitled NASA AFRC Requirement from the Servicing and Overhaul of Landing Gear Wheels and Tires 80AFRC21SS0004 which was posted on October 28, 2020. You are notified that the following changes are made: Respond to question received.� The following attachments are attached titled: Attachment 2 and 80AFRC21SS0004 Questions and Answers. The due date for the responses is not extended. If a solicitation is released, all documents will be available on www.beta.sam.gov.� It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this website for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO PROPOSALS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. This notice is issued by the NASA/Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) to post a draft Statement of Work (SOW) to solicit responses from interested parties.� This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promote competition.� NASA AFRC has a requirement for the servicing and overhaul of the landing gear wheels and tires for the various AFRC-owned aircraft. These facilities and aircraft are located at Edwards AFB, CA, and Palmdale, CA. Aircraft Information: - Boeing DC-8-72 - Gulfstream G-III - Boeing 747-SP - Gulfstream G-II� - Beechcraft King Air B-200 - Global Hawk - ER-2/U-2 This presolicitation synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response.� The Government may not respond to questions/concerns submitted. The Government will use the information to finalize the RFP as necessary. All comments or questions shall be submitted electronically via email to Rosalia Toberman, Rosalia.toberman-1@nasa.gov and Gail Anton, gail.t.anton@nasa.gov, no later than November 9, 2020 at 12:00pm PST.
