- This is an intended sole source announcement. Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic), Code 22130, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to EMPOWER RF SYSTEMS, INC. For repair of the items listed below: PART NUMBER DESCRIPTION 2073FLBZCCFXX-R FFP REPAIR OF AMPLIFIER, SN: 1102 2073FLBZCCFXX-R FFP REPAIR OF AMPLIFIER, SN: 1116 4009FLBZCCFXX-R FFP REPAIR OF AMPLIFIER, SN: 1113 4009FLBZCCFXX-R FFP REPAIR OF AMPLIFIER, SN: 1121 4009FLBZCCFXX-R FFP REPAIR OF AMPLIFIER, SN: 1149 4009FLBZCCFXX-R FFP REPAIR OF AMPLIFIER, SN: 1165 EMPOWER RF SYSTEMS is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment being repaired. In order to ensure that the amplifiers are returned in to their factory operation and only the OEM Empower RF Systems can repair the units to their original condition. If any other company were to complete the repairs, it would create the risk that they would not restore them to the correct condition in order for them to be compatible for the ship. This announcement is in accordance with requirement listed above, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 � Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This synopsis is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No electronic or hard copy Request for Quote (RFQ) will be prepared or made available for distribution. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all quotes received in writing within the request for quote due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. Quotes must be submitted via email to: brianna.durtschi@navy.mil and are due by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 23 November 2020. This action is conducted under FAR Part 13. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334220. System Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all vendors doing business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Invoices must be submitted electronically via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
