Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground � Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities and Development Command (CCDC), the Airdrop Delivery Directorate (ADD) intends to procure on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements � Essentium HSE 180 S HT R3 3D Printing System. The Engineering Team at CCDC will be developing items in FY21 with requirements for large build volume and high temperature/high toughness materials. This platform should allow for the use of custom materials developed at CCDC. A platform that enables this large-scale fabrication with expandability for future growth will be required to complete these efforts. Additionally, the HSE 180 S HT R3 and supporting equipment was developed under SBIR and these results will be socialized with the USAF Texas Air National Guard to improve their platform. Specifications include: - 1 Essentium HSE 180 S HT R3 3D Printing System - Consumables Starter Kit - Deployment and Training to include Deployment and Machine Training, Initial set-up and training for HSE Printer - Essentium Build Processor Software to include (3) seats of Materialise Magics HSE Prints - Essentium Drybox with SmartBake (120V) Natick Contracting is anticipating awarding this contract to Essentium, Inc, 19025 N Heatherwilde Blvd Ste 100 Pflugerville, TX, 78660. Essentium, Inc is the only known source that can supply the Essentium HSE 180 S HT R3 3D Printing System. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be issued.
