Description

THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for the upcoming Mid-Term Availability (MTA) for the USNS JOSHUA HUMPHREYS (T-AO 188). The period of performance for this requirement is on/about 03 July 2021 and continuing for a period of 50 calendar days. The USNS JOSHUA HUMPHREYS has a length of 677 FT, a Breadth of 98 FT, an anticipated arrival draft of 20 Ft Fwd 27ft Aft not including a minimum draft clearance of three (3) feet beneath the keel at mean lower low water (MLLW) (tide ranges may be considered), and is 20,706 tons gross. Area of consideration is East/Gulf Coast. Major work items associated with this availability include: Drydocking, Side Shell steel Replacement, Annual Firefighting, Annual Radio Equipment, Tank preservation, and DFM Contaminated Tank Steel Replacement After issuance, solicitation and supporting documents will be made available on the Government Point of Entry website www.Beta.Sam.Gov. This requirement will be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. � The estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 03 December, 2020. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted at Beta.Sam.Gov. All requests must provide DUN & Bradstreet number and Cage Code. The appropriate NAICS Code is 336611. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from this potential source as a result of synopsis. There are no responses due based on this pre-solicitation notice.
