- Request for Information USAF, Space & C3I AN/FPS-117 Atmospheric Early Warning System (AEWS) � Heater Blower Assembly NSN: 4520011606234 and 4520011606235 P/N: 77D609821G001 and 77D609821G002 Reference Drawing: Item Drawing Heater/Blower Assembly 77D609821 PL77D609821G1 and PL77D609821G2 7247339 ( Conn Diag, Electronic) 7326646 ( Electronic Schematic) 77A100042 (Test Requirement) The Government is performing market research on potential sources of manufacture, supply, or repair for the following items and their components: Heater Blower Assembly NSN: 4520011606234 and 4520011606235 P/N: 77D609821G001 and 77D609821G002 NAICS code: 33341, 333414, 333415, 335210, 334512. This heater/blower assembly provides thermostatically controlled heat to the platform electronics cabinet. In the event of a 24 V DC power failure A, minimal amount of heat will be supplied to the equipment. This notification is for market research purposes to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience and knowledge required to successfully complete this effort for Hill Air Force Base, Utah and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement will be accomplished. This is not a request for proposal or invitation for bid. Respondents to this Sources Sought should show: Possession of required technical documentation, to include the latest revision of the Air Force Technical Manuals and drawings listed above. Capability to successfully manufacture and/or supply these parts to meet the AEWS AN/FPS-117 requirements and not alter the Form, Fit, Function and Interface (FFFI) items. Capability to completely test these items for correct function per Air Force Technical Manuals and OEM documentation. AN/FPS-117 in system testing or equivalent testing capability is required.� Successful registration with the US System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov). Ability to process contract reporting through the CAV AF system (www.cavaf.com). Successful registration as a DoD contractor, have an active CAGE code and a completed form DD2345. Ability to accept DCMA audits of company processes and DCMA inspection of produced items. Ability to submit reports and invoices in Wide Area Work Flow (wawf.eb.mil) Capability to manufacture or supply quantities of 1 to 10 each. Respondents to this Sources Sought should include a rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimate of costs to manufacture and/or supply and test these items along with costs to perform the above government reporting requirements. The government will use this ROM to budget for purchase of these items and will not use it as a negotiating or evaluating position for any responses to a possible follow on request for proposal (RFP). To be considered as a potential manufacturer/supplier/repair source for this requirement, a Contractor will be required to submit technical data, in response to a solicitation, verifying their capabilities to produce/supply/repair this item. All costs incurred by the Contractor in responding to this request for information will be covered by the Contractor. The Government does not intend to pay for any cost incurred by the Contractor in providing this information. The Contractor will be required to verify to the Government that the items manufactured/supplied/repaired are within Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Responding to this request in no manner guarantees a contract will be awarded to the respondent for the manufacture/supply/repair of this item. Respondents to this request will be retained in a file and subsequently provided a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) when issued.� Responding to this request in no manner guarantees a contract will be awarded to the respondent for the manufacture/supply of this item. All information received in response to this announcement that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly.� Responses will not be returned.� In accordance with FAR 15.202(e), a response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract.� Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this announcement.
