- Description
- Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide full elevator repair and maintenance services at�Bonneville Lock and Dam. Elevator and escalator services are for the monthly inspections and�maintenance of 20 elevators/escalators and all necessary work performed relative to cleaning,�lubrication, adjustment and calibration of the equipment where applicable to return each elevator to�the specified condition. Inspection schedules include monthly, annual, every two-year, and five-year�inspections. Maintenance services shall be in compliance with American Society of Mechanical�Engineers (ASME) Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ASME 17.1, Oregon Elevator Specialty Code�(OAR 918-400-0455 and 918-400-0458), and Washington Administrative Code (WAC 296-96-00500), as�well as the manufacturer�s recommendations and other applicable laws, regulations, rules, ordinances,�codes. A Site Visit date is set for 3 Dec 2020. Meeting location: Bonneville Dam Security Office, HWY 84,�exit 40, Cascade Locks, OR 97014. See RFQ for details. Contract type:��This RFQ will result in a firm fixed price commercial, performance-based servicecontract. The Government will include options in the contract. Set Aside and Codes: This is an unrestricted, full and open acquisition. This effort is classified through the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) under code 811310 � Commercial and�Industrial Machinery and Equipment ($8M). The FSC is J035 � Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of�Equipment- Service and Trade Equipment. All contractors are required to be register and maintain an active SAM entity registration in order to be�eligible for contract awards, as prescribed by the regulation at FAR Subpart 4.11. In order to eligible for�the contract award resulting from this solicitation, Offerors are advised to take immediate action to�ensure your SAM entity registration is current and/or will be current at the time of proposal receipt by�this contracting office. Quoters are reminded to review the RFQ for instructions on the submission of questions with respect to this RFQ.
