- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office-8 has a need to procure Nitrile Glove for all seven medical center facilities (Orlando, San Juan, West Palm Beach, North Florida/South GA, Bay Pines and Miami). Medical gloves are vital for the protection of the Veterans Affairs Healthcare staff, employees and patients during the COVID-19 pandemic to meet critical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needs. Network Contracting Office 8 intends to solicit and award an Acquisition Nitrile Glove for all seven VA Medical Center facilities (Orlando, San Juan, West Palm Beach, North Florida/South GA, Bay Pines and Miami). Medical gloves are vital for the protection of the Veterans Affairs Healthcare staff, employees and patients during the COVID-19 pandemic to meet critical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needs The performance period for this contract will be Base period plus One, 6-month option. The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 339113, with a related small business size standard of 750 employees. The proposed action is for a Multiple Award, Fixed Price (FP) IDIQ Contract, which will be advertised as Unrestricted. The solicitation will be posted on or about 17 November 2020, via BetaSam.gov website. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-09 dated 10/26/2020. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copy solicitation response will be accepted. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management database (www.SAM.gov) by the time quotes are received to be eligible for award of a contract.
