- Description
- The Contractor shall procure and deliver the Hardware, Equipment, and Software systems to the end-user�s facility.� The contractor shall ensure all upgrades, maintenance, and service agreements are in place for the durations specified.� Refer to the section labeled �Facility Access� for further requirements.� Substitutions: The Government requires that all items of hardware, software, and equipment that are specified in lot quantities greater than one (1) all be of identical brand, make, and model as specified.� In the event of obsolescence, or lot size availability restrictions, the Contractor shall provide an alternative or industry standard replacement for that item.� The Contractor must highlight those items which are obsolete and the suggested alternate in their proposal for Contracting Officer consideration.� In the event a newer version exists the Contractor shall propose on the newer version and must highlight this in the proposal.� The Contractor shall clearly identify all proposed alternatives and newer versions in a narrative to the Contracting Officer for consideration. Training:� The Contractor shall provide training contract services through the service provider to provide training for the subject software.� Training shall be conducted during the year and proposed schedules for this training shall be provided to the Contracting Officer for coordination and approval with the customer.� Upon completion of training the Contractor shall provide proof of training completion to the Contracting Officer within 10 business days. The proof of training shall include the following: Contract number, CLIN/SubCLIN the training is applied to, Date of the training, Name of the trainer, Length of time per hour of training, Attendance List/Sign in sheet, Signed/Counter signed by the Contractor and GDMW Representative The training shall include the Contractor�s recommended standard training duration and sessions, and be procured and coordinated by the Contractor, the end user, and the vendor.� The training shall be conducted at the project site, by certified trainers, and by personnel proficient in Arabic.� The Government will provide the venue, classrooms, trainee computers, trainees, and facilitate facility base passes access only.� The Contractor shall ensure the provider supplies all other requirements for the training, including:� manuals, teacher(s), training software as applicable, hard copy printouts, media, and other training aids as necessary.� The provider shall supply all required base pass data to GDMW as required to meet the timeframes and requirements for training.� The Contractor shall provide the following information in proposal:� Number of training events and durations, and costs This requirement will be evaluated on a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis.
