Description
Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, with Nimble Therapeutics for Array Design, Standard Data Processing, and Basic Data Analysis, Six (6) Array Synthesis (custom synthesis), Standard pMHC-I Array Processing, Standard pMHC-I Array Processing (HLA-B*07:02), Standard pMHC-I Array Processing (HLA-B*35:01). Nimble Therapeutics recently developed a proprietary technology that manufactures high density microarrays of antigens chemicals produced by viruses, such as the flu virus and the SARS-CoV-2, and bacteria such as the pneumonia-causing, anthrax-causing, and tuberculosis causing bacteria. These microarrays are used to probe immune responses of people that have an infectious disease, such as COVID-19 or flu. The identification of antigens informs which are best to make vaccines with. In a similar manner, we will uses Nimble Therapeutics proprietary technology to probe for antigens made by the bacterium that causes tuberculosis. accines are the best way to bring down the health burden caused by tuberculosis in our Veterans. Hence, Nimble Therapeutics has the required advanced technology for high-throughput, reliable, and precise discovery of antigens that will quickly, in one-step, inform on best antigens for anti-tuberculosis vaccine development. This is a notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Monday, November 30th, 12:00, EST.
