***The purpose of this update�is to include RFP Amendment 0006.� See amended solicitation for changes..*** The purpose of this amendment is to revise the anticipated contract award date and extend the proposal expiration period due to the Government requiring additional time to complete an evaluation of the maintenance, sustainment and training strategy for the AAS capability on the P-8A platform.� The purpose of this update�is to include RFP Amendment 0005.� See amended solicitation for changes. The purpose of this update is to re-upload RFP Amendment 0003 and conformed copy as the previous files were corrupted. The purpose of this update�is to include RFP Amendment 0004.� See amended solicitation for changes. The purpose of this update is to include RFP Amendment 0003�modification and conformed copy which extends the proposal receipt date. The extension is due to a forthcoming RFP Amendment 0004 which will incorporate minor revisions to the SOW. The purpose of this update is to include RFP Amendment 0002 modification and conformed copy which removes requirement for print�proposal submissions due to COVID-19 P-8A Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Special Mission Pod (SMP) Forward Deployment Mechanism (FDM) Part Task Trainer (PTT) The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) intends to utilize a Small Business Set-Aside competitive award process under the Training Systems Contract (TSC) IV Multiple Award Contract (MAC) to award a Firm Fixed Price delivery order for this effort. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Contracts Department, Orlando, FL announces its intention to design, develop, integrate and procure technical trainers for Squadron Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) maintenance training for the P-8A Poseidon aircraft. Training systems shall be used to train aircraft maintainers in the skills necessary to reconfigure and install the new sensor on the aircraft, and to maintain the deployment mechanism at the organizational maintenance level. AAS Maintenance training will be conducted using Hardware Part Task Trainers (PTT) on two separate sets of training devices located at NAS Jacksonville and NAS Whidbey Island. The requirement has an anticipated 20 month performance period. The NAICS code is 333318, with a size standard 1000 employees. This contract action will be issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Subpart 16.505 under the auspices of Training Systems Contract IV (TSC IV), a NAWCTSD Multiple Award Contract (MAC). Only TSC IV Small Business Prime Contractors (contractors previously awarded a contract within this vehicle) are considered an interested party in this pre-solicitation notice, and responses from non Small Business TSC IV MAC contract holders will not be considered. All inquiries regarding participation as a subcontractor should be submitted to a Prime Contractor for consideration.� Interested subcontractors may contact Prime Contractors for access to these documents.
