- The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support the upcoming Regular Overhaul (ROH) availability on TWO 34' Patrol Boat 0821 (34PB 0405) and 0408 (34PB 0408). The overhauls for both boats will consist of structural, electrical, piping, mechanical and outfitting repairs for the boats, and boat trailer repairs.�� Typical systems which may require repairs or upgrades include, but are not limited to: Propulsion, Power, Command and Control, Steering, Fuel, Electrical, Communication, Hull, Structural, Towing, Anchoring and Outfitting.� Equipment upgrades, alterations and modernization will also be performed.� Interested parties must have or be able to obtain: -a certified welder in accordance with NAVSEA T 0300-AU-SPN-010A -a certified Cummins Engine technical representative -a certified Hamilton Jet technical representative -an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) Certificate The Government's market research is based on FAR Part 10 and the result of market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. �If your organization has the potential capacity and desire to perform these contract supplies, please provide the following information:� Organization Name, CAGE code, address, e-mail address, web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization.� Also state whether or not your intention is to be a primary contractor or a potential subcontractor.� �This Sources Sought is for the overhaul of two 34 foot Patrol Boats to be repaired simultaneously. The boats will be located at Naval Air Station Jacksonville and can be towed via a provided trailer to the contractor's facility.
