- The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to modify Firm Fixed Price contract N0018918P1203 awarded to Merrimac Petroleum, Inc. and will utilize the procedures of FAR Part 13, �Simplified Acquisition Procedures.� The requirement is to increase the quantity of propane delivered by 15,000 gallons. Place of Performance is Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC), Wallops Island, VA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 324110 with a size standard of 1500 (# of employees) million. Please direct all questions regarding this requirement via e-mail to the POC identified in this synopsis. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.302-3106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
