- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, Fayetteville, NC 28301, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for PCR Point of Care Instruments Roche Lait instruments and the COBAS IT data management system for Fayetteville VAMC with Roche Diagnostics Corporation in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302.1 Only One Responsible. This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that the Cobas Liat are is only available from a single source without delay or duplication of cost and no other type will satisfy agency requirement. Cobas Liat, interface license, test server and Infinity are sole source of Roche Diagnostics Corporation, 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, In 46256-1025. This is a Brand Name Only requirement to satisfy Fayetteville Medical Center to provide testing and reporting the SARS-CoV-19 using molecular testing methodology with EUA approval for waived testing. This system allows the medical center to do Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) on Point of Care system.
