- Description
- This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subparts 12 and 13, Commercial Items and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-09. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561730 - Landscaping Services, with a small business size standard of $8�Million. The PSC is F014�- Natural Resources/Conservation - Tree Trimming. The Columbia VA Health Care System in Columbia, SC is seeking to purchase landscaping services for tree/stump/vegetation removal. All interested companies shall provide quotations IAW the attached RFQ (and statement of work embedded within the RFQ). The purchase order estimated period of performance is 01/04/2020 � 03/05/2021�(60 Days). Place of Performance/Place of Delivery Address: 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC Postal Code: 29209 Country: UNITED STATES A complete list of terms and conditions are included in the attached RFQ. All quoters shall submit one signed copy of the solicitation, which has all required fields/information completed. All quotes shall be sent to the Contracting Officer (Duaita Roseboro) at duaita.roseboro@va.gov. Award will be based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13. Comparative evaluation is the side by side pairwise comparison of quotes based on factors resulting in a Contracting Officer decision for the quote most favorable to the Government. Offers will be evaluated based on PRICE and PAST PERFORMANCE, following determination that the contractor is responsible and possesses necessary capability to perform services. The award will be made to the response most advantageous to the Government. Responses should contain your best terms, conditions. Quoters shall list exception(s) and rationale for the exception(s), if any. One official site visit/walkthrough will be held on 04 Dec 2020 @ 1:00 PM EST.� Submission of your response shall be received not later than 4:00 PM EST on 11�December�2020 at duaita.roseboro@va.gov.
