- Description
- This effort provides software upgrade required to provide Crypto Modernization (CM) to Link 16 TacNet Tactical Radios (TTR) on MC-130H, MC-130J, CV-22, and HH-60 aircraft for Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and Air Combat Command (ACC). Link 16 provides a secure network for the exchange of near-real-time tactical data and an enhanced situational awareness among network participants. Sole source award will be made to the Data Link Solutions (DLS), CAGE: 081U3, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). DELIVERY SCHEDULE: This action will result in the award of a new delivery order to DLS proprietary as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The projected award date for this order is 10 March 2021 with an anticipated period of performance of 24 months. Any questions should be directed to the buyer/Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) identified. If your concerns are not satisfied by the PCO, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
