Description
1. General: This contract�s purpose is to provide contract deployment and distribution services in support of the 595th Transportation Brigade (TBDE) and subordinate units� operations missions within the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Contractor shall provide support throughout the entire USCENTCOM AOR, ensuring completion of suspense actions and compliance with regulatory guidance, beginning 45 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) section 7.503, the Contractor shall not perform inherently governmental functions. Contract services provided are not active duty or services under 38 United States Code (USC) �106 and Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 1000.20, Active Duty Service Determinations for Civilian or Contractual Groups. This effort shall be limited to non-personal services. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) (Attachment 1) details the effort to be accomplished. This requirement is being solicited as a full and open competition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561110. 2. Primary Place of Performance: The work performed for this requirement shall be primarily accomplished at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait and the Sea Port of Debarkation (SPOD) in Kuwait. Work hours including overtime shall comply with Host Nation Labor Laws. The basic work schedule is Sunday- Thursday, 40 hours each week. 3. Schedule: The period of performance (PoP) for this effort is: Transition Period: 17 August 2020 to 30 September 2020 Base period: 01 October 2020 to 30 September 2021 Option Period 1: 01 October 2021 to 30 September 2022 Option Period 2: 01 October 2022 to 30 September 2023 Option Period 3: 01 October 2023 to 30 September 2024 Option Period 4: 01 October 2024 to 30 September 2025 4.
