- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office-8, needs to install Gold Medal Safety Padding at the Orlando VA Healthcare System Lake Nona Hospital Mental Health Facility. Installation is for two safety rooms are also known as quiet rooms, calming rooms, de-escalation rooms, cool down rooms, or seclusion rooms. These rooms are used to create an environment completely removed from outside distractions, facilitating deep relaxation and/or contemplation within a safe environment. Network Contracting Office 8 intends to solicit and award to the contractor who will furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, fuel, supervision, and insurance required to perform the installation. The installation will be conducted within 60 days after received of the award. The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 238990, with a related small business size standard of 16.5 Million. The proposed action is for a Firm Fixed Price Contract, advertised as SDVOSB 100 Percent Set-Aside. The solicitation will be posted on or about 19 November 2020 via the BetaSam.gov website. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-09 dated 10/26/2020. The offeror's responsibility is to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to the solicitation. No hard copy solicitation response will be accepted. To be eligible for the award, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management database (www.SAM.gov) by the time quotes are received to be eligible for the award of a contract. No further information will be provided prior to posting of the RFQ.
