- USAMMDA�s Medical Prototype Development Lab (MPDL) has a Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Press Brake built by Cincinnati Inc. in need of repair.� Based off of the manufacturer�s diagnosis/recommended fix, the CNC Press Brake needs an upgrade to the computer system in order to make the system operational.� The CNC Press Brake is a key piece of equipment in performing MPDL�s mission of developing field medical equipment. The key objectives in completing the requirements for this contract will be the diagnosis and repair the CNC Press Brake.� This shall include the installation of a GEN5 controller, software/hardware upgrade performance of the Cincinnati CNC Press Brake scheduled preventive maintenance, including, but not limited to, replacing CNC Press Brake appropriate hydraulic fluid, filters, O rings and air breather tank. �Hydraulic fluid will be supplied by the government. �Following the repair and service of the CNC Press Brake, CNC Press Brake shall function as designed. � Interested contractors may identify their interest and bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement shall submit information about their capabilities no later than 4:00 PM EST, 15 December 2020.� All questions and responses concerning this notice shall be emailed to Herbert Caj Keen at herbert.e.keen.civ@mail.mil. ��All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.� No solicitation will be made available.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed solicitation based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
