- PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT The Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Division of Acquisitions is issuing a Pre-solicitation Notice announcement to seek potential Native Owned sources who would be interested in providing roof repairs and installation for three (3) educational buildings at the Bureau of Indian Education � Lake Valley Navajo School in Lake Valley, New Mexico. This notice is to identify native owned businesses that fall into the following available set aside categories, Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE). Indian Economic Enterprises are defined, in part as any business entity that is at least fifty one percent owned by one or more American Indian or Alaska Native Individuals. The Buy Indian Act can be located at 25 U.S.C. 47. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 238160 and the small business size standard $16.50. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with this Pre-solicitation announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. It is requested that only those that meet the definition of these categories submit a response to this notice. Send your capabilities statement to include your DUNS #, description of your specialties, contact information (business name, contact person, phone number and email address), bonding capabilities. The contract scope of work consists of the following discipline of roofing repairs to three educational building at Lake Valley Navajo School. Some temporary repairs were made and this project shall go over the existing shingle system with a Pro-Panel metal system. Due to high winds the existing shingle system needs to be repaired. The three building are the Library, kitchen and dormitory Interest parties are requested to provide their DUNS number for verification of inclusion in the System for Award Management (SAM). Any interest and qualified sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement and letter of interest to Mary Jane Johnson vie email maryjane.johnson@bia.gov. To be considered in the research, please provide the information above no later than 5:00 P.M. on December 18, 2020, Mountain Standard Time (MST).
