Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract, on a competitive basis for a quantity of two (2) Pilot-Production Units, and two hundred and fifty-four (254) Production units of the Data Bus Network Testers (DBNT), as well as the associated data deliverables, in support of PMA-260. The DBNT will be used at the Organizational Level of maintenance. The DBNT is the MIL-STD-1553 DBNT in NAVAIR inventory, and is experiencing parts obsolescence issues. The replacement DBNT is a portable, rugged, battery-powered ""O""-Level tester for isolating faults on transmission lines and stubs of various aircraft data buses. A fleet wide survey of all the aircraft platforms within the Naval Air Enterprise identified the requirement for the replacement unit should incorporate an Ethernet requirement along with the MIL-STD-1553B.
