- AMENDMENT #2:There is still no antipicated solicitation date for this project and is on hold.� If no further updates are made, you can assume the project was canceled or put off until a later date. AMENDMENT #1: This project and site visit are being postponed due to the recently announced public health emergency on JBER due to COVID-19.� The presolicitation will stay open and active and questions are still welcome until we deem that a site visit is feasible again.� A follow-up amendment will follow to upload all drawings for the corresponding buildings.� Any questions regarding this, let me know--TSgt McKenzie *// Break //* The 673d Contracting Squadron is contemplating an award for HVAC replacements for facilities located on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER), Anchorage, Alaska. The purpose of this project is to replace the existing building heating system with a new combination heating and cooling system and upgrading the existing ventilation system covering the entire facility. The end result desired is a facility adequately maintaining interior temperature for occupant comfort with independent control of their space temperature and a ventilation system compliant with current CDC requirements.� The purpose of this project is to replace the existing building heating system with a new combination heating and cooling system and upgrading the existing ventilation system covering the entire facility. The Government is contemplating a competitive total small business set-aside. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on the beta.sam.gov website.� Paper copies will not be available.� Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequentyly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.�� Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.�� A pre-solicitation site visit is planned for the morning of Thursday, the 12th of November.� All prospective offerors are encouraged, but not mandated, to attend the site visit to better grasp the requirements of this project.� Please contact the provided POCs if you plan to attend the site visit. Post site visit, all questions will be due by Monday, the 16th of November and should be submitted to the listed POCs.�� Please review the attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) for more details.
