Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Delivery Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-16-G-0001 or follow-on BOA awarded to The Boeing Company, 6200 J.S. McDonnell Blvd Saint Louis, MO 63166, using authority FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAVAIR�s requirement is for the retrofit of F/A-18C/D, F/A-18E/F and EA-18G bearing cap seals as implemented similarly to production aircraft via ECP 5057.� The non-recurring engineering (NRE) retrofit effort includes the completion of a Technical Directive, seven (7) validation kits, seven (7) verification kits, seven (7) validation kit installations, a Program Cyber Security Implementation Plan (PCSIP), Logistics Product Data (LPD) and Technical Manual updates for both USN and RAAF, Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), and Production Drawings to support ECP 6530 Retrofit Incorporation of Improved Cockpit Flight Control Mechanism Sealing. The Lateral Torque Shaft assembly stack-up for seal implementation (cockpit floor pass through) is a Boeing drawing product and Boeing owns the specification requirements. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals.
