- SOLICITATION NOTICE M67854-21-R-1804: Physical Training Uniform NAICS Code: 315280 - Other Cut and Sew Apparel Manufacturing This Solicitation Notice is for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Physical Training Uniform (PTU). A PTU will be include one physical training shirt and one physical training short. The PTU solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2. Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Program Manager, Infantry Combat Equipment (PM ICE), requires a Berry Amendment compliant PTU. The PTU must meet the specified performance requirements in accordance with the SOW (Attachment 001) as well as the PTU Purchase Descriptions (Attachment 002 and Attachment 003). The Government anticipates awarding no more than four, five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP), commercial item contracts where an offeror(s) would be capable of producing an anticipated combined maximum quantity of 1,800,800 PTU units. Only one proposal/offer may be submitted per offeror. Only one design of PDMs to match the proposal/offer may be submitted per offeror. All required documents shall be submitted as separate files and adhere to the page and formatting restrictions identified. Offerors proposed pricing shall be valid for one year from date of submission. Three PTU Product Demonstration Samples are required to be submitted with proposal submission. If your company is notified of its inclusion in the IDIQ Award from the proposal submission in response to the RFP, a delivery order will be provided to your company to produce 100 PTUs for limited testing user evaluation. If your company is selected for production units after the limited testing user evaluation, Nine PTUs will be required within 60 days of the following delivery order to support Pre-Production Validation (PPV). Upon successful completion of PPV, the contractor will be required to begin deliveries within 60 days and shall be capable of producing and delivering a minimum quantity of 15,000 PTU�s per month within 90 days of receiving production authorization. This production capability rate must be must be maintained until all deliveries are complete.
