- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to TGW Systems Inc., 6870 Grand Haven Road, Spring Lake, MI, 49456-9616 (CAGE 31440) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b) (i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement to establish a contract for TGW Systems Inc. to come on-site to evaluate and repair the TGW Mini-Load Storage System which includes the TGW Mustang Stacker Crane and a Lenze Lift Drive. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required service as there are no other authorized servicers of the TGW Mini-Load Storage System.� Therefore, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from TGW Systems Inc., the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the system.� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
