Description: NOTICE INFORMATION Agency/Office: Defense Health Agency HT0011-RFI-0063-01 (INDUSTRY DAY) Location: Defense Health Agency Headquarters (DHHQ) 7700 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22042 Contracting Office-Falls Church Description(s): Request for Information, Site Visit, Industry Q&A Title:� DHHQ, Cafeteria/ Concessionaire Introduction: Defense Health Agency Headquarters is conducting market research for services/supplies required to establish and operate the cafeteria/food service facility located within the Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ), for the purpose of dispensing food, nonalcoholic beverages, and other items as may be authorized by the Government, in accordance with all terms and conditions specified herein. � This event offers contractors the opportunity to take a critical look at cafeteria requirements support during an active COVID environment and allows for feedback that could result in providing firsthand experience and best practice methods for relaunch of a full service cafeteria. This event is neither a solicitation nor a request for a proposal. To register for the event hosted at the Defense Health Headquarters, starting at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, please email: Ms. Nakaura Yusuf at nakaura.c.yusuf.civ@mail.mil and Mr. Tyrone Davis at tyrone.davis8.civ@mail.mil no later than January 4, 2021, 2021. Pre-registration is required due to potential space limitations, the government will confirm registration and time slot as available. � Time slots: 10:00-10:45; 11:00-11:45; 12:00-12:45; 1:00-1:45; 2:00-2:45; 3:00-3:45. History This cafeteria is to be operated for the benefit of approximately 3,050 employees who are expected to be occupants in the building.� This requirement is expected to be sourced as a concessionaire, no-cost contract. This cafeteria is to be operated for the benefit of approximately 3,050 employees who are expected to be occupants in the building, with dining facility total square footage of 7,195 SF as follows: 1) Kitchen and Cooking Lines � 3,390 SF; 2) Servers � 922 SF; 3) Indoor Dining � 972 SF; and 4) Outdoor Dining � 1,911 SF.� Due to COVID-19, Department of Defense health protection conditions, state and local health requirements of employees and social distancing requirements, building population may vary from 700-1500 people on a given day due to current health conditions and restrictions. The primary objective of this requirement is to provide a full-service food cafeteria which includes the following: Furnish all personnel, supervision, food products, and all other items (unless otherwise specified) necessary to operate the cafeteria and provide dining services.� Offer a variety of tasty, appetizing, quality food items, including healthy items, in quantities to satisfy customer demand and maximize customer satisfaction. Offer a food cart delivery service, if possible in the future that provides a variety of pre-made food items, including healthy options. Offer espresso drinks, brewed coffee and variety of teas, as well as refreshment beverages. Offer bulk food (catering) services for special events Provide cafeteria services Monday through Friday, except during Federal Government holidays or other closures as dictated by the Office of Personnel Management. �Provide fast, friendly, courteous cafeteria services that will result in a high level of customer satisfaction.� � For the right to offer the services on DHHQ, the Contractor shall pay DHHQ a commission fee. Such commission fee will be a percentage of Contractor�s total adjusted gross sales. �� Submission Instructions- capability statement should be submitted prior to attending Industry Day. Capability Statements: Interested parties, regardless of event attendance, are invited to submit capability statements for market research purposes and acquisition strategy planning (5-page limit). At a minimum the capability statement should include: 1) Name of your company, DUNS, address, point of contact with phone number and email address. 2) Business size for the assigned NAICS code. In addition to the size of business, indicate any other socioeconomic designations such as 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Women-Owned Business, etc. 3) Company's capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity by including a brief description of at least (3) projects, customer names and phone numbers, timeliness of performance, and dollar values of the projects. 4) If company is/will be part of a joint venture, state names of joint venture members and their business size(s).
