Description
W15QKN-20-Z-0EOD Precision Grenadier System Virtual Industry Day & One-On-Ones Product Manager Individual Weapons (PdM IW) invites you to attend a virtual industry day for the Precision Grenadier System (PGS). This is in conjunction with Precision Grenadier System, Sources Sought Notice PANNWJ-21-P-0000000378. This virtual industry day will inform Industry of the PGS program plans and begin an open dialogue in an unclassified, open forum. As the Army pursues advanced technologies in small arms development and partnerships with industry, we will need to share more information with our industry partners. The PGS is envisioned to be a man portable integrated weapon system that enables precision engagements to destroy personnel targets in defilade and in the open with increased lethality and precision compared to the legacy M203/M320 grenade launchers. The PGS will provide an overmatch to comparable threat grenade launchers in near peer formations in future operating environments (jungle, urban, woodland, subterranean, desert, day/night). The PGS is envisioned to consist of a weapon, a fire control, and a suite of ammunition which enables the user to engage targets in defilade/cover, hovering unmanned aerial system (UAS) targets, conduct door breaching, engage close combat targets, and light armored targets. Vendors desiring to participate in the PGS Virtual Industry Day shall complete the following attached forms and send them by email to the below Point of Contact: - Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement - FCDDAC Form 1350 Technical Data Request Questionnaire Note: FCDDAC Form 1350 requires an active Joint Certification Program (JCP) number. Vendors requiring a JCP number shall complete the attached DD Form 2345 Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, and submit in accordance with the directions at the top of DD Form 2345. The JCP Office usually takes 2-3 weeks to process DD Form 2345 requests. Only one submission is needed per vendor. After all the completed forms are received, a link will be sent through DoD SAFE for vendors to download the PGS Virtual Industry Day video. Vendors desiring to participate in virtual one-on-ones after viewing the PGS Virtual Industry Day, shall e-mail a one-slide PowerPoint presentation (format attached) highlighting potential solutions as well as any additional supporting information along with name and email address of participants to the below Point of Contact. Requests must be submitted by December 31, 2020 to be considered to participate in the virtual one-on-ones. The Government reserves the right to deny vendor virtual one-on-one requests. Virtual one-on-ones are expected to last no longer than 45 minutes per vendor during January 6 7, 2021. Virtual one-on-one timeslots will be on a first come first serve basis. While not guaranteed, the Government will attempt to accommodate vendor requests for different timeslots. Virtual one-on-one invitations will be sent to participants once a time-slot is assigned but no later than January 4, 2021. The virtual one-on-ones will inform US Army requirement writers of the current and developing capabilities of the Industrial base, as well as provide vendor partners the opportunity to showcase their PGS technologies and discuss information and questions in a private forum. All questions and responses will be summarized and posted to this announcement after virtual one-on-ones are concluded. No competition-sensitive or vendor proprietary information/data, will be released. All vendor information will be treated confidentially. The Government will not entertain vendor Non-Disclosure Agreements. No award is intended as a result of the virtual industry day and/or one-on-ones nor does the Government intend to pay for any information received. Any response to virtual industry day and/or one-on-ones is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding award. There are no vendor costs to participate in this event. The Government will not be responsible for any expense incurred by a vendor's decision to participate in the virtual industry day and/or one-on-ones. All costs are to be assumed by the interested vendor. A lack of participation in the virtual industry day and/or one-on-ones does not preclude participation in any future solicitations, if any are issued.
