- This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E521Q0002 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).� This requirement is full and open competition. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 � Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance was determined to best represent this requirement. The small business size standard is $8.0M. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a technical services requirement for multiple pieces of heavy equipment.� These machines that CRREL own, are currently in mission ready status, and need yearly maintenance and safety upgrades. Specific tasks to be conducted: CASE 450 Dozer Install new horn and flashing led strobe Install bright work lights Engine service (oil, filters, fuel, hydraulic fluid, brake and transmission fluid) Champion SuperPac Roller Install new battery kill switch Repair horn Install work lights Replace drum wiper Engine service (oil, filters, fuel, hydraulic fluid, brake and transmission fluid) John Deere 1050 Repair cab and floor mounts New lights Install strobe lights Engine service (oil, filters, fuel, hydraulic fluid, brake and transmission fluid) Caterpillar 2.5 Yard 924H Bucket Loader Engine service (oil, filters, fuel, hydraulic fluid, brake and transmission fluid) Transportation of each piece one at a time to contractor shop. Please reference the attached RFQ for applicable provisions and clauses.� The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) responsible quote.� The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: ability to provide the required services meeting all requirements listed in the Performance Work Statement and total quoted price.
