- The purpose of amendment 0002 to SIR 6973GH-20-R-00196 is to extend the SIR close date to 12/11/2020.� FIRST:� The close date of the SIR is extended: FROM: 12/8/2020 TO:� 12/11/2020 SECOND:� All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The purpose of amendment 0001 to SIR 6973GH-20-R-00196 is to reopen/amend the SIR and make the close date 12/8/2020. The SIR is reopened due to the need to edit PWS. This includes update to the SIR, SIR Attachment 2 (PWS)(see attachment) and update to dates on SIR Attachment 1 (Schedule B)(see attachment). FIRST:� The close date of the SIR is extended: FROM: 11/6/2020 TO:� 12/8/2020 SECOND:� The PWS dated 7/15/20 (SIR Attachment 2) is replaced with PWS dated 11/19/2020. The change to the PWS is Section G.5 Computer-Based Instruction. THIRD:� Schedule B (SIR Attachment 1) was updated to update the period of performance. FOURTH: �The effective period of this requirement is updated to one year from February 2, 2021. The following clause is updated as follows: AC1604 CONTRACT PERIOD (JUN 2015) The effective period of this contract is 1 year from February 2, 2021, plus four, 1-year options if� exercised. FIFTH: �All other terms and conditions remain in full force and effect. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for Helicopter Field Maintenance Training on four (4) various helicopters for Airworthiness (Maintenance / Avionics) Inspectors employed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). It is the intent of the Government to award multiple contract(s) using an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type Contract priced by CLIN for each student for a one (1) year base period and four (4) option years, if exercised. The Government intends to award multiple contracts. The intent is to award each aircraft type to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Offeror. Each aircraft requirement is identified by separate CLINs in Schedule B and competition will be on an aircraft by aircraft basis. Resulting contract will be awarded to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Offeror for that aircraft. The awarded contract(s) may contain many, few, or one aircraft depending on the competition results. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST. CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. All interested sources should first attempt to download the attached SIR and supporting document(s). If downloading is not possible, all request for copies of the SIR documents(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Gib Park, Contracting Specialist (AAQ-732), via e-mail at gilbert.n.park@faa.gov. Any and all questions pertaining to this SIR should be submitted in writing to the contract specialist at, gilbert.n.park@faa.gov by 3:00 p.m. CST on October 23, 2020 to allow for adequate response time. No questions will be allowed after that date and time. Technical and cost proposals must be received by the FAA no later than 5:00 P.M. CST, November 6, 2020.� Proposals must be submitted electronically to gilbert.n.park@faa.gov, and addressed with the SIR Number 6973GH-20-R-00196. All submittals will need to allow sufficient time to process through security procedures in place at the Aeronautical Center. In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, ""Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals,"" any proposals received after the due time and date of 5:00 p.m. CST, November 6, 2020, will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award. The SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation.
