- Description
- The National Park Service (NPS) has issued Amendment No. 1 to the Prospectus soliciting for proposals in resopnse to a business opportunity to operate overnight camping with horses within Point Reyes National Seashore. This Amendment No. 1 adds the following documents: Table of Contents Appendices Table of Contents Appendices A, B, and C This Amendment No. 1 includes updated version fo the following documents with the following substantive changes: Business Opportunity Proposal section: ""and two secondary selection factors"" was deleted (pg. 2). Revenue and Operating Statistics Proejcts section: ""year"" changed to ""season"" (pg. 11). Deferred Maintenance section: deleted ""No deferred maintenance exists in the Concession Facilitiies"" and substituted ""Any deferred maintenance existing in the Concession Facilities at the start of the Draft Contract is not the responsibility of the Concessioner"" (pg. 13). Utilities section: added ""See the Appendix for more information on DO35B"" (pg. 14). Federal Minimum Wage section: changed section to reflect that the federal minimum wage for contractors established by Executive Order 13658 and 29 C.F.R. Part 10 does not apply to this Contract (pg. 14). Proposal Instructions Seciton 3)(b)(2) references to ""Regional Chief"" replaced by ""Kristen Jontos"" Proposal Package Offeror's Transmittal Letter: ""federal Business Opportunities website"" changed to ""beta.SAM.gov website"" (pg. 3). Principal Selection Factor 1: operating plan section formation added (pg. 7). Principal Selection Factor 4, Subfactor 4(b) 1) Personal Property: requirements clarified to include personal property with monetary value equal to our exceeding $500 (pg. 28). Principal Selection Factor 4, Subfactor 4(b) 3) Operating Projections: Line changed ""If your projected expenditures for personal property investment exceeds ________"" to ""If your projected expenditures for personal property investments exceeds $1,000"" (pg. 32). Exhibit A, Operating Plan: Section 4(B)(1) clarified meaning of sentence by changing ""all vehicles"" to ""all Concessioner vehicles"" (pg. A-7). Exhibit F, Insurance: Section 3(a) Building(s) and Contents Coverage corrected ""Amount of insurance (buildings): Full replacement value as listed in Exhibit D without deduction"" to ""Exhibit C"" (pg. F-4). Exhibit H, Intellectual Property Licensed Marks: removed ""Five Brooks Stables"" from the licensed marks (pg. H-1). The Prospectus is available on the NPS Commercial Services website at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm. There is no cost to download the documents from this website. If you choose to retrieve a copy of the Prospectus�from the NPS website please notify Kristen Jontos via email at Kristen_Jontos@nps.gov so you are placed on the mailing list to receive notifications of any future modifications or other correspondence. Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on March 15, 2021. Any proposal, including that of the Existing Concessioner, must be received by the deadline in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the Concession Contract. The NPS will accept proposals for this Prospectus electronically, please consult the Proposal Instructions contained in the Prospectus for information on how to submit. The NPS will hold a one-day site visit at Point Reyes National Seashore on December 10, 2020. Information on how to attend the site visit is included in the Prospectus.
