- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is for Market Research purposes only. The information submitted in response to the Sources Sought Notice will not be utilized to determine vendor standing in any future/potential Request for Quote, nor will it be utilized to determine if a vendor is qualified to submit a Request for Quote for any future/potential requirement. The notice and the information received shall not be used to determine how well respondents can perform a requirement, which can only be evaluated in response to a solicitation. Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought Notice. All future/proposed submissions/solicitations requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry (GPE) will be evaluated independent of any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. No vendor will be provided information on solicitations issued on a Government Point of Entry based on this Sources Sought Notice. Potential Sources shall provide their Capability Statement and it must be clear, concise, and complete. The Miami VA Healthcare System (MVAHS) has a potential requirement for Annual Pumping / Cleaning Services of the (4) Sanitary Lift Stations, 42 Storm Drains and Cooling Tower Sump for Bldg#44 and Quarterly Inspection for Sanitary Lift Stations to NAICS 562910 Remediation Services with a size standard of $22.0M. Please see the attached Draft PWS to ensure you can perform all of the services. Please confirm if you can provide Annual Pumping / Cleaning Services. Please confirm that you can meet the Limitations on Subcontracting. The Limitation on Subcontracting under 13 CFR 125.6 and VAAR 852.219-74 apply to this acquisition. 13 CFR 125.6(a)(1) states: In the case of a contract for services (except construction), it will not pay more than 50% of the amount paid by the government to it to firms that are not similarly situated. Any work that a similarly situated subcontractor further subcontracts will count towards the 50% subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. Please confirm and explain how your company will be able to comply with the Limitations on Subcontracting in accordance with 13 CFR 125.6.
