- This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research purposes ONLY. The Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy) is exploring alternative solutions and determining industry capabilities. In accordance to FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is issued solely for the gathering of information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals. Any response to this notice will be treated as information only. All responses received may be held for an extended period or destroyed. In no case will any responses be returned to the originator. DLA Energy will not provide reimbursement for costs incurred in responding to this RFI, as all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be the sole responsibility of the responding party. Respondents are advised that DLA Energy is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted under this RFI. Responses to this RFI do not bind DLA Energy to any further actions related to this topic. This notice covers Ground Fuel requirements for DLA Energy customers located at Konotop Barracks at Drawsko Pomorski, Poland. The estimated quantity is potentially annual 50,000 UG6 DIESEL FUEL #2 (DF2) 9140-00-286-5294, estimated weekly to bi-weekly delivery 6K-12K delivered via Tank Truck with Pump and Meter. If your company is interested and capable of providing the fuel products as specified, please respond to this Request for Information (RFI) no later than December 15, 2020 at 10AM Eastern Standard time. The RFI will close December 15, 2020 at 10AM Eastern Standard Time. Information will not be accepted after 15 December 2020 however; no expectation of a response shall be anticipated after 15 December 2020. Please address the following questions as part of your RFI response: 1. Does your company participate in any socioeconomic programs/small business programs? If so, please state which program(s). 2. Are you a refinery? 3. Does your company hold any current or previous Government contracts with DLA Energy? 4. Which Specific types of fuel you are capable of supplying? 5. Can your company potentially support the requirement as outlined above? 6. Include SPE605-21-RFI-1004, Konotop Barracks Drawsko Pomorski, Poland in the subject line.
