- Description (Notice of Intent) NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION TO BRIDGE A CONTRACT UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1.� The NAVFAC Washington, Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD) Quantico, Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico, intends to award a fixed price modification for a twelve (12) month bridge to NCS/EML Joint Venture, LLC, located at Louisville, KY.� This bridge is in support of Facility Support Services for Russell-Knox Building (RKB), Bldg. 27130 (along with the DSS Annex Building and Parking Garage), MCB Quantico, Virginia. �The services include preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and maintenance for facility installed equipment, facility investment, refuse, security, fire protection, janitorial, pest control, grounds maintenance, street sweeping, snow removal, and other operational support services.� This requirement also provides for the issuance of task orders under the non-recurring portion of the Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity.� This bridge contract will allow enough time for the follow-on effort to be competed in accordance with FAR Part 15. � THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� The Justification and Approval, citing the authority of FAR 6.302-1, will be posted for the public inspection on or about 14 days after the modification has been awarded.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by 12 noon EST 24 December 2020 via email to Maria.Caceres1@navy.mil.� All proposals received by the closing date specified herein will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� However, a determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.�
