- Department of Veterans Affairs Network 21 Contracting Office will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement titled Refrigerant Replacement Bldg. 1D at the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System, Reno, Nevada. The work will consist of Department of Veterans Affairs Network 21 Contracting Office will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement titled Refrigerant Replacement Bldg. 1D at the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System, Reno, Nevada. The work will consist of providing professional construction services to install and make operational new refrigeration equipment, eight units for eight walk-in refrigerators/freezers, then remove existing refrigeration units, pumps, cooling tower and piping that serve the Building 1 Nutrition and Food Service area at the VA Reno hospital facility. This procurement is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39.5M. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 15. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is December 28, 2020 and closes January 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM PST. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Site Visit: A site visit will be scheduled, and the date will be posted with the Request for Proposal.
