- SAM - DESCRIPTION This is a requirement for Tampa VAMC Annual Medical Gas Systems Testing & Evaluation Services. The Tampa VA is looking for a The contractor who can provide all, labor, material and equipment to conduct the medical gas and vacuum testing of medical gas outlets and vacuum inlets located at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital and the testing will be conducted in accordance with NFPA 99, JCAHO, and Tampa VA. In addition, the testing will also include total evaluation of the following: flow rate and outlet pressure, purge for particulate, concentration analysis, outlet integrity, zone shut-off valves, vacuum pump(s), medical air compressor(s) and dryer systems (if applicable), medical gas alarms (area & master), dew point analysis, CO & dew point monitors (if applicable) and manifolds. This inspection is a mandatory Inspection that is mandated by NFPA 99, and Joint Commission. This service requirement is for One Base Year and Four (4), twelve (12) month Option Years. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside requirement. The RFQ will be posted on 12/15/2020 by 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Period of performance: 01/05/2021 01/04/2022 and Option year period of performance to follow dates.
