- The Department of Justice, Procurement Services Staff, on behalf of the Justice Management Division Facilities and Administration Support Services (FASS), intends to award a purchase order to Re-Form Office Furniture, based on FAR Subpart 13.106-1 (b) Soliciting from a single source. �FASS has an urgent and compelling need to repair conference room chairs that have fallen into disrepair to the point of being uncomfortable to sit on. These chairs are in a highly used space so urgency of the repairs is critical.� This is a logical follow-on to a previous acquisition for a similar furniture reupholster procurement that was competed using open market ordering procedures in which this vendor was the awardee. �It is in the best interest of the Government to keep the uniformity and consistency of the reupholster process with the same source which will reduce costs and delays and the vendor�s employees have already been cleared for building access based on the previous award.� Continued use of Re-Form will ensure�quick and timely repair of the damaged or worn chairs. �This is a notice of intent to award using other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for information on whether additional vendors have the capability to perform this service. No solicitation document is available. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered a response. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Any responses received as a result of this notice shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
