- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-2. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract for Additional Nurse Call Stations to use with the existing call stations to Professional Communications, 1759 PR-8838, San Juan, 00926, Puerto Rico. The delivery and performance are located at Caribbean Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, 10 Casia Street, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00921. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 15 Million. If a vendor believes they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government s requirement. The government will consider their capability for any additional requirements. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement bases upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of government. Responses to this notice are due on or before December 16, 2020 by 16:30 PM, EST to this procurement office to Contracting Officer Pedro Catinchi at the below email address.
